That's odd. I can watch it just fine using Chrome (mobile).

Aron City is actually where Johnny Bravo takes place.

Also one tidbit about Cow and Chicken, the reason it takes a lot of inspiration from Ren and Stimpy is a lot of the people that worked on C&C were actually former R&S animators, so it only makes sense that the show would have a close resemblance.

Also some things about Doug you got wrong-the Nick version DOES take place in elementary school, it's the Disney version that's set in junior high(and that's the version that has the anorexia episode). BTW if you ever want to do a separate review of the Disney version of the show(which honestly I always preferred over the Nick version) the whole series is on Disney Plus.

Personally I disagree that watching As Told By Ginger means you don't have to watch Doug, both shows are good in their own right IMO. ATBG is a good show, but it's also pretty heavy in terms of subject matter at times and that's something you have to be in the right mood for, whereas Doug is more laid-back and fun, I find it's a good show to put on when I need to unwind. I'll certainly take it over many of the overly loud and in-your-face animated shows like TTG and that horrible new Thundercats show(which definitely deserves an atrocity review, and the 2011 version is certainly worthy of an Admirable Animation IMO).

I thought the theatrical film was fine for what it was(though it wasn't originally intended for theaters, originally it was supposed to be a three-part made-for-TV movie called "Arnold Saves the Neighborhood" and it only got upgraded to a theatrical film after plans for the Jungle movie fell apart and Nick wanted something in theaters.

I like the idea of you uploading your episodes to your webpage through HTML5, rather than trying to play with YouTube and its injustices. Also, I liked this series as a kid too.

Great review, though.... I feel like these reviews are more initial thoughts than reviews. But, it's actually a good thing. Hearing your thoughts and memories of these shows (not just Arnold) just bring a smile to my face. Im happy that you are doing Nick O Rama and that this series not only is train for you, but for us (young and old) to remember and appreciate the greatness of Nicktoons.

Seconded I’d love to catch your work on your own webpage! It would remind me of the olden days of the Internet, an era that really should be recaptured.

My feelings on Hey Arnold! are exactly the same as yours. With a balance of deep episodes and hilarious episodes, that's why it's my favorite Nicktoon. I also like how Oskar Can't Read is brought up.

Oh, fuck yes, I love this show!! There's just... so many nostalgic memories of me watching Hey Arnold growing up. Hey Arnold is also in my top 20 absolute favorite cartoons of all time as well. Hey Arnold is just one of those 90s shows that ages like fine wine.

You're absolutely not biased on the music. I never watched this show, and it honestly reminds me of my own childhood.
