Society of the Treasure Trackers
[This episode starts with April, Molly, and Sally walking through the forest on the outskirts of Summerway. They are deep in the forest, so the light hardly peers on through except small cracks and clearings from up above. The sounds of summer cicadas and other insects create an ambient noise, punctuated by the steps of the girls. A main source of light is April' earrings, which are cyan glow sticks. Sally is excited, but the other girls are skeptical.]
Sally: Come on girls, it's this way!
Molly: Sally, I really gotta get back to work.
April: Weren't you just going on and on about all of the customers annoying you throughout the day?
Molly: Yeah, but--
Sally: Come on, would one of your best friends forever lie to you?
Molly: No, but--
April: Well, where is it?
[Sally pushes away a large branch, and reveals a giant hollow log going through a large group of rocks.]
Molly: Sally, I ain't goin' through there. There's probably ants or spiders or other creepy-crawlies.
Sally: But Molly, you gotta see this!
April: Well, if you're so heritant, then I suppose I'll go first.
[April ducks down and starts going through the log. April turns around and looks to Molly.]
April: Oh, and Molly dear, there's one of those creepy-crawlies on your shoulder.
[Molly freaks out]
Molly: Get it off of me! Get it off of me!
[April giggles and Sally joins her. Molly looks annoyed when she realizes the prank.]
Molly: Very funny, April.
Sally: Come'on, come'on!
April: Sally, I'm sure that your secret whatmazoo is going to be there no matter how long we take.
Sally: Yeah, but I might not be. The excitement is gonna make me explode!
Sally: Come on girls, it's this way!

[Cut to April, Molly, and Sally crawling through the log. April's earrings are the only light source. Sally's face is illuminated brightly, and Molly's is cast full of shadows. The three of them crawl. Molly puts her hand on a centipede by accident and recoils.]
Molly: Eek!
April: Don't you spend all day with grease and grime and such, Molly?
Molly: Grease and grime don't move.
April: Ah, but the wriggling and the struggle, that's what makes the taste so satisfying.
[Molly gets a little green around the face as she hears that.]
Molly: You don't really--?
April: Come to my house for dinner some day.
[April turns towards Molly with a menacing stare]
April: If you want to chance it.
Sally: Would you two knock it off? We're almost there!
Molly: Eek!
April: Don't you spend all day with grease and grime and such, Molly?
Molly: Grease and grime don't move.

[Cut to the other end of the log. April pulls herself out first, and then brushes herself off.]
April: Sally, I don't see what the--
[April turns around and her face lights up with surprise.]
April: I can see what you were talking about.
[Sally crawls out of the log.]
Sally: See, it's awesome, isn't it!?
Molly: What are yeah two goin' on about?
[Molly pulls herself out of the log.]
Molly: Woah.
[The camera reverse shots to showcase a three-story wooden mansion, almost reminiscent of a stereotypical haunted house. The fence in the front yard is old and beat up, and many parts of the house are in obvious disrepair. It's hidden under the treetops of the forest, giving it a constant twilit look.]
Sally: Isn't it cool?: I haven't been inside yet cuz I wanted to explore it with you two.
Molly: How'd yeah find somethin' like this?
Sally: I have... a lot of time while you two are at work.
April: Do you think that it's haunted by a ghost or a spectrum or perhaps something worse?
Sally: Ooh, I hope so! That'll be a story.
Molly: Sorry teh disappoint you, but ghosts don't exist.
Sally: How do you know?
Molly: You ain't never seen one, have you?
Sally: Of course not, ghosts are invisible, duh.
April: Sally, I don't see what the--

Sally: Of course not, ghosts are invisible, duh.
[Cut to the girls pushing through the front gate.]
Molly: As much as the sound o' a haunting sounds cool, I don't think we're supposed to be here.
[April looks at a sign on the ground, covered in moss and dirt and rust. Most of the letters are missing.]
April: According to Kid Code 475 - if a building is abandoned it is open for public exploration.
Sally: I mean, if I was never goin' back to my house, I'd want someone else to see all my cool stuff.
Molly: But what if it ain't abandoned?
April: Then whoever lives here needs a major sense of redecoration.
[Sally tries to put her hand on the doorknob, but before she reaches it, it creaks open revealing a long entrance hallway. The hallway is filled with rotting old tables and desks. There are finger paintings held on the wall that have gone yellow with age. A chandelier hangs from up above covered in cobwebs.]
Molly: Alright, we seen the mansion, can we please go now? This is all givin' me the creeps.
Sally: Haven'tyou seen the Clue Crew before? We gotta explore the whole place. It's our duty as kids!
Molly: I guess... you're right.
Sally: Awesome! I get upstairs!
[Sally starts climbing the stairs, but she ends up falling through and crashing in the room below. Sally picks herself up.]
Sally: Wow, I coulda gotten hurt!
[A beam falls from above and clonks her on the head, leaving her in a cartonish haze.]
Sally: Wow, I doulda blotten burt!
[April and Molly look into the room that Sally fell into it.]
April: Dear, perhaps we should stick together. It would make our tour a bit more steamlined.
Molly: Yeah, that's what I'd prefer.

[Cut to a door creaking open. Molly shines a flashlight through.]
April: Do you have to bring that thing everywhere? Molly: What are you complainin' about? Sally: Ooh, what's this place? April: I say, it looks like a dining room. [The camera rotates around the room. There's a very large table with a dusty old table cloth. Sitting in each chair there's a doll or a teddy bear sitting there. In front of them are chipped old china - teacups, saucers, plates, etc.] Molly: Looks more like a tea party room. Sally: What I wouldn't give to have one in a place like this. |

[April tries sitting in one of the chairs, but it breaks the second she does.]
Molly: I think that these chairs are for toys only, like these cookies.
[Molly picks up what appears be a toy cookie.]
April: No, I think that those are edible. Or were at one point.
[Molly drops it in shock.]
Molly: Gross! Gross! Gross!
Sally: Huh..., who'd leave all their toys here in the woods and never come back for them?
[Sally picks up one of the dolls.]
Sally: Toys shouldn't be treated like this.
[Sally rocks it back and forth]
Sally: They're meant to be played with, forever and ever. Who's your mommy, little dolly?
Molly: {Off-screen} AAAH! A monster!
[Cut to April wearing a very odd, creepy mask. She takes it off and starts laughing.]
April: So, let me get this straight - ghosts don't exist, but monsters certainly do?
Molly: That's not funny!
April: I found a whole room of costumes. Perhaps we should--
[Sally dashes by her in a cartoonish cloud of dust, making April spin around.]

[Sally dashes by her in a cartoonish cloud of dust, making April spin around.]
[Cut to Sally dressed up as a dinosaur, looking through a box of costumes. Even Molly is in on the fun, dressed up in cracked sunglasses, a large hat, a tutu, and many festival beads, with a ring on each finger.]
Molly: No autographs, please.
[April is not dressed in a costume.]
April: Autographs, oh please. That is so last season's fashion.
[April takes out a fashion magazine that has Molly's exact costume outfit on the cover as high fashion.]
Molly: And you make fun of me for carrying around a flashlight.
April: I need this. You never know when inspiration needs a bit of a pick-me-up.
Sally: Hey guys, look at what I found!
[Sally shows them a tarnished golden skeleton key.]
April: A key?
Sally: Yeah, and I think it's real.
Molly: Where do you think it goes to?
April: Perhaps somewhere in the house.
Sally: Well, let's get going then!
Molly: No autographs, please.
[April is not dressed in a costume.]

Sally: Well, let's get going then!
[Cut to the three of them at a very old door, with a skeleton key lock doorknob.]
April: It must be this one. It's the only one left in the entire house.
Sally: On the count of three, all of us open the door together.
[The three of them hold on to the key together.]
Molly: One.
April: Two.
Sally: Three!
[The key goes into the lock, and turns. There's a click and the door opens.
April: It must be this one. It's the only one left in the entire house.

[The three of them hold on to the key together.]
Molly: One.
April: Two.
Sally: Three!
[The key goes into the lock, and turns. There's a click and the door opens.
[Cut to a very large room. The most notable feature of the room is a large circular table in the center. It has many olden papers on it. A house plant is in the back corner of the room, dead. Several papers are taped to the wall. There's a line of shelves, and while there are some toys and such there are actual bits of treasure.]
[Molly walks up to it and pulls out a sapphire necklace.]
Molly: I-is this for real?
April: Lemme see it.
Molly: No! I found it!
[April snatches it, leaving Molly annoyed. April examines it, then she licks her finger and slides it across the gemstone.]
April: Yeah, it's real.
[She tosses it back over to Molly.]
April: Shame too. Plastic is a lot more comfortable to wear.
Molly: How'd all of this get here?
Sally: {off screen} Hey, look at this!
[Sally looks to a large piece of paper taped to the wall - entitled "Society of the Treasure Trackers."]
April: Society of the... Treasure Trackers. On this date--I can't quite make it out--we agree to form an inseparable bond of friendship, sparked by the hunt for treasure. Not just in the jewels we find, but the experiences we create.
Molly: (Chuckles) A little corny, huh?
Sally: Signed Janet Miller, Sabrina Young, and Eliza Fisher. What do you think happened to them?
April: Well, it's obvious, isn't it? They spent so much time arguing over the necklace that Molly is wearing right now that their friendship fell apart.
Molly: That's a hoot. We'd never break out friendship cuz of some stupid jewels.
April: Then give the necklace to Sally.
Molly: No! It's mine!
[Beat. April stares at Molly.]
Sally: Quit it, you two. I don't want any jewels. I wanna know what happened here.
April: Well you do that, I have a nighttime photoshoot to get to.
Molly: Yeah, and my dad and I were gonna go to the movies.
Sally: Come'on guys, this will be fun! Solving mysteries--
April: Maybe some other time. This place will still be here when we get back.
Molly: Judging from the structural integrity, I'm not too sure that's true.
[Molly puts the necklace back on the shelf.]
Sally: And you're leaving the necklace behind? We coulda had some serious drama goin' on as we fought over it!
Molly: Yeah, but I just remembered that I can't wear jewelry to work (sigh).
[April and Molly head for the exist]
Sally: You're not working all the time!
[The door is heard closing. Sally turns back towards the document hanging on the wall. She takes out her cell phone and takes a picture of it.]
Sally: Now we solve the mystery of who owns this clubhouse.
[Molly walks up to it and pulls out a sapphire necklace.]
Molly: I-is this for real?

[Cut to Sally back at home in the kitchen. She's looking at the picture on her cellphone. Janet walks by, towards the fridge.]
Janet: Oh hey, you found my old clubhous.
Sally: What!? You're Janet Miller?
Janet: Well, that was my name before I moved in with Damien. The Society of the Treasure Trackers. Now that one takes me back.
Sally: To the time when you and your friends were torn apart by your greed over the cursed sapphire necklace!?
Janet: If my pranks on 'em didn't send them running, I don't think some dopey old costume jewelry would either.
Sally: So... what happened?
[Janet is about to think, but then she stops]
Janet: Come to think about it, I don't really remember. It was such a long time ago. Before I even met your mother.
Sally: Oh yeah, that reminds me!
[Sally peaks through the kitchen door to see Autumn reading a book.]
Sally: Autumn, did you do your homework?
Autumn: [Flatly] No.
Sally: Do your homework.
[Cut to Sally back in the kitchen.]
Sally: Well, if Janet doesn't know, I'm going to need to find the other two. And I think I know just the kid who can help me.
Janet: Oh hey, you found my old clubhous.

[Cut to Sally walking down a street with Niall next to her.]
Niall: And here you can find the home of Sabrina Bhatt, formerly known as Sabrina Young.
Sally: Thanks Niall, you're not so bad after all. I don't know how you track some of these people down.
Niall: Well, there's a funny story about this one.
Sally: Yeah?
Niall: She's my mom.
[Beat.]
Sally: Oh.
Niall: And if I may ask you a question--
Sally: NO! I AM STILL NOT AN ALIEN!
Niall: And here you can find the home of Sabrina Bhatt, formerly known as Sabrina Young.
Sally: Thanks Niall, you're not so bad after all. I don't know how you track some of these people down.

Sally: Oh.
Niall: And if I may ask you a question--

[Cut to Sally sitting down in Niall's living room. It's oddly neat. All of the furniture is covered in plastic wrap. Niall's mother is sitting down, and she is much more happy than most would expect her to be.]
Sally: I... didn't expect Niall's house to be so neat and tidy.
Niall: Gotta keep a clean house. Germs are no laughing matter.
Sabrina: So, you're one of Niall's friends that you're always playing games with, I heard.
Sally: Well uh... that's one way of putting it.
Niall: [Suspiciously] Can I get you some... hot chocolate?
Sally: Uh... no thanks.
[Niall moves in closer, as if he's trying to eye Sally's true intentions.]
Sabrina: [Whispering] Just say yes, it'll get him out of the room for a bit.
Sally: Uh yeah... sure. Hot chocolate sounds great.
[Niall nods and he goes into the kitchen.]
Sabrina: He can be a handful at times, but he does have a good heart.
Sally: So I've heard. Anyway, what do you know about the Society of the Treasure Trackers?
Sabrina: Oh, I haven't heard that name in ages!
Sally: So you were friends with Janet and... what was her name?
Sabrina: Eliza, we were all the best of friends.
Sally: What happened?
Sabrina: What do you mean?
Sally: What caused you guys to hate each other?
Sabrina: Hate each other? What on earth would give you that idea?
Sally: That you three had a cool clubhouse that you stopped using all of a sudden.
Sabrina: I stopped using the clubhouse because I had moved to Electric City.
Sally: I... didn't expect Niall's house to be so neat and tidy.
Niall: Gotta keep a clean house. Germs are no laughing matter.

Sabrina: I stopped using the clubhouse because I had moved to Electric City.
[Cut to a flashback of the Treasure Tracker mansion, back when it was pristine. The name "Society of the Treasure Trackers" is even on the sign above the gate. A much younger Sabrina runs up to the gate. The trees haven't grown as much, so bright sunlight shines on the mansion.]
[Cut to inside the mansion. Janet is playing dolls with another child - Eliza. Both of them are dressed up in costumes from the costume room. Sabrina enters holding a letter. Eliza speaks with a British accent.]
Sabrina: Girls! Girls! I did it!
Janet: You got the job?
Sabrina: Yup!
Eliza: Wow, that's so cool!
[Sabrina takes a look at the letter.]
Sabrina: I even get to move to Electric City!
Eliza: [Dreamlike] The biggest city in all of Americandy. What I wouldn't give to be able to go there!
[Sabrina falters for a moment.]
Sabrina: Oh yeah... you two aren't coming with me. Well that does put a damper on things.
Janet: Don't worry, we got telephones.
Sally: {Off-screen} Telephones were invented back then?
Sabrina: {Off-screen} Yes, we're not that old. Now please don't interrupt the story.
Sally: {Off-screen} Oh, sorry.
Eliza: And we could always send letters.
Janet: We'll always be--
Eliza/Janet/Sabrina: Treasure Trackers forever!
Eliza: Find some treasure there for the rest of us, will you?
[Sabrina nods.]

[Transition back to the modern day.]
Sally: No falling out? No nothing!?
[As Sabrina talks, we get images of the Treasure Trackers going about their lives.]
Sabrina: We tried to keep in touch. At first we called evetry single night, and that first night, I kept 'em up until dawn talking about the city and the people and the excitement.
[Beat]
Sabrina: But as time went on and on, there was less to talk about. The city stayed the way it was, and Summerway didn't change much either. Sure there was news once in awhile, but even that became largely the same. The calls became less and less, and before long I found my own treasure - Niall's father.
[Cut back to modern day]
Sally: You were the one who wrote the paper on the wall, weren't you?
Sally: No falling out? No nothing!?

Sabrina: Yes, why?
Sally: Uh... just a guess. But seriously, you just... lost touch? Sabrina: That's just what happens sometimes. [Niall enters the room with hot chocolate.] Niall: So, are you staying for dinner? We're having dhokla. [Sally looks to her cellphone. She swipes from the Treasure Tracker message to a picture of her, April, and Molly.] Sally: Uh... I gotta go. Niall: It's vegetarian. Sally: What? Oh, no. I just got... some thinking to do. [Sally gets up and runs out of the house.] Niall: Why do they always do that? Sabrina: Do you think that she's in on the Martian Jellybeans conspiracy? Niall: Perhaps. We'll have to keep our ears to the ground. |
[Cut to Sally sitting in a tree in her backyard. She has her head in her lap as she's watching the sun set in the background over the city of Summerway. She looks at the pictures on her phone, looking at happy and silly moments between the three friends - Sally, April, and Molly. Then she gets to the picture of the "Treasure Trackers" paper.]
Sally: What chance do we got?
[Salluy debates throwing her phone, but she holds firmly. A ringtone goes off.]
April: {Voiceover} Hey Sally, what's up?
[Sally looks at her phone with surprise. She's unsure on what to do.]
April: {Voiceover} Sally, are you there?
[Sally puts the phone to her ear.]
Sally: Yeah.
April: {Voiceover} Is something amiss? You sound dismeveled.
Sally: I was just... wondering if you wanted to come over to my house for dinner tomorrow.
April: {Voiceover} Oh no, I can't. I have to make a business trip to Electric City.
[Sally's eyes open wide with shock.]
Sally: You didn't say anything about Electric City!
April: {Voice over} Because if I told you every time I left Summerway, it's all we'd ever talk about. Are you sure you're doing okay Sally?
Sally: I... yeah, sure.
April: {Voice over} Well, either way, I'll be back by Friday.
Sally: That's FOREVER. You might totally forget about me by then, and twenty years later you're going to forget why we were friends in the first place!
[April laughs.]
April: {Voice over} Sally, you are quite the delight. I gotta go. My phone basttery is dying.
[Sally looks at her phone with the "call ended" button.]

[Cut to an establishing shot of Molly's garage. The sun is rising over it. Birds happily fly through the air. Cut to inside the garage. Molly is working on a car. She reaches into the engine, and pulls out a football. Then she pulls out a rubber duck. And then she pulls out a chicken that happily crows.]
Molly: How many times do I gotta tell kids that the engine ain't an extra trunk! [The camera pans to show Sally standing in the doorway, awkward and sad.] Sally: Hey Molly-- Molly: Oh hey Sally. What's up? Sally: Wanna go get some ice cream or... Molly: Sally, you know I'm workin' right? Sally: Can't you just take a day off once in a while? Molly: Yeah, which is why I went to that old house with you yesterday. You feelin' okay? Sally: [Sarcastically.] Yeah, I'm feeling just great. |
[Molly turns towards Sally.]
Molly: [Annoyed] Look, Sally. We can't do things every single day. I've got all weekend off and we can do whatever then. Right now though, I got work to do.
Sally: You always have work!
Molly: Yeah... that's kinda in the job description of well, havin' a job. Seriously, are you feelin' okay?
Sally: No! Because you're gonna forget about me by Friday!
[Sally runs out of the room, slamming the door behind her.]
Molly: Like anyone's ever forgettin' bout Sally Dunn.
Molly: [Annoyed] Look, Sally. We can't do things every single day. I've got all weekend off and we can do whatever then. Right now though, I got work to do.

[Cut to April outside the fence to her family's land. She checks her camera and places it in the passenger seat of her car. She boredly drinks from a thermos of hot chocolate, walks around the car, and sits in the driver's seat. She turns to see Sally sitting in the passenger seat, holding April's camera and giving the biggest smile that she can.]
Sally: So, best friend forever, when are we gonna get started on that road trip? I brought the Eternity Forever CD's!
April: Road trip? Sally, you know that you can't come with me, right?
Sally: But it's always been my dream to go with my best friend to Electric City. I mean, you ARE my best friend, right?
April: Sally dear, you're beginning to worry me just a smidge.
Sally: Worry!? (Laughs maniacally). That's a funny joke. A really good one! I promise I'll be good!
April: Does Max know you're here?
[Sally quickly takes out her phone, dials a number, and puts it to her head.]
Sally: HiMaxGoingToElectricCitySeeYouFridayBye!
[Sally hangs up the phone.]
Sally: I left a message.
[Sally smiles and starts sweating.]
April: Sally, even if I were to take to Electric City, which quite frankly I'm not doing, when I get there, I am sololy going to be doing my job.
Sally: Please, come on! I thought we were friends!
[April rolls her eyes and begins driving.]
Sally: So we're going!
April: We're going somewhere.

[Cut to April pulling up to Sally's house. Her car comes to a stop.]
Sally: You brought me--
April: Home, Sally. If there's something on your mind, you can tell me. If you don't want to, that's fine as well. I will be back on Friday, and then we can play all weekend. But as for now, I do have a job to do.
Sally: [Teasingly] Can't work if you don't have your camera!
[Sally takes April's camera and runs out of the car.]
April: Sally! Sally! Get back here with that!
Sally: [Shouting] Gumdrops! Here boy!
[Gumdrops bursts out of the house, running. Sally jumps on. She blows April a raspberry and rides off.]
April: She knows that I have more than one camera, right?
[Beat. April rolls her eyes.]
April: I'm sure she'll be over it soon enough.
[April picks up her cellphone.]
April: Molly dear, I do believe something's up with Sally. Can you please make sure that she's okay while I'm at work this week?
Sally: You brought me--
April: Home, Sally. If there's something on your mind, you can tell me. If you don't want to, that's fine as well. I will be back on Friday, and then we can play all weekend. But as for now, I do have a job to do.

[Cut to Sally dismounting Gumdrops at the log entrance to the Treasure Trackers' mansion.]
Sally: Okay boy, go home, and remember - don't tell anyone that I'm here.
[Gumdrops reluctantly nods and he runs off. Sally crawls through the log.]
Sally: Let's see if April can do her job without her camera.
[Cut to Molly leading Robert, Autumn, and Janet through the woods.]
Autumn: Are you sure that Sally would come this far out into the woods?
[Gumdrops runs by.]
Molly: Yeah, I'm pretty sure.
Janet: She's going back to the old clubhouse, isn't she?
Molly: I don't see where else she's goin'. I got no idea what has gotten into that girl.
Robert: Sally... can react to things pretty heavily.
Janet: I think I know why she's acting like this. I need to be the one to talk to her.
[They walk up to the log.]
Molly: Good luck gettin' through there.
Janet: Oh cool, you found a second entrance to the clubhouse.
Molly: Second entrance?
Janet: Yeah, there's a gap in the rocks over that way. Even a grown-up could walk through there.
Sally: Okay boy, go home, and remember - don't tell anyone that I'm here.
[Gumdrops reluctantly nods and he runs off. Sally crawls through the log.]

[Cut to Sally in the Treasure Tracker meeting room. She's playing with April's camera.]
Sally: Lots and lotsa pictures--
[There's a knock on the door.]
Sally: Oh April, back for your camera already?
[The door opens and both Janet and Molly come through.]
Sally: Molly? Where's April?
Molly: She's in Electric City.
Sally: But I--
Molly: Stole her camera.
Sally: Okay, I know that this looks bad, but I did what I had to do!
[Janet looks around the room.]
Janet: Oh hey, I remember this place.
[Janet looks at the Treasure Trackers wall paper.]
Janet: It's our old creed. Wow, Sabrina... was rather wordy, wasn't she?
Sally: What are you doing here?
Janet: Oh, I wanted to talk to you. I think that you kinda... got the wrong idea from all of this.
Sally: What's there to talk about? My friends are gonna forget me and then I'm gonna be alone and my life will be over!
[Sally falls down in tears.]
Molly: Sally, is that what's been eatin' you?
Sally: The only thing that's been eating me is the bugs. Seriously, this place is crawling with them.
Molly: Yeah, I gathered that much.
[Beat.]
Molly: Yeah know, April's been really hurt that you of all kids would take her camera just like that.
[Sally looks shocked. She's clearly not thinking rationally.]
Sally: This is it, isn't it? This is the moment where you tell me that April never wants to see me again!
Molly: No, she just wants her camera back.
Janet: Lemme try and talk.
Sally: What's there to say!? You know how it is! One day you and Sabrina stopped talking and-- and-- and--
[Sally clutches onto the camera for dear life.]
Janet: Sally, it's not as bad as you think it is.
[Sally doesn't speak.]
Janet: Sally... sometimes people just kinda drift apart. It can happen to even the best of friends. We get new interests, we move to new places, and we end up meeting new people.
Sally: New people?
Janet: Yeah. After Sabrina and Eliza moved away, I met your mom. We're still friends, after fifteen, twenty years.
Molly: I'll tell yeah what isn't helpin' - acting crazy and takin' April's stuff like that.
Sally: I don't want to lose... my friends.
Molly: Well stealin' April's camera ain't exactly helpin', now is it?
[Sally thinks for a moment, and then falters.]
Sally: No...
[Sally puts the camera on the table. Molly takes it, and then she smiles.]
Molly: Yeah shoulda told me that that's what was on yer mind, ya dolt.
Sally: What do you mean?
Molly: You don't think that I knew some good people back home?
Sally: What happened?
Molly: Well, when I got here I met this really weird girl named Sally Dunn.
[Beat. Sally laughs. Then Molly joins her. Sally stops.]
Sally: Do you keep in touch?
Molly: Some of 'em. But hey, I lost touch withy some of them back before I moved.
[Sally bites her lip.]
Janet: As sad as it might be, you will always meet new people, Sally. And no matter what, you'll have always the memories. Those good times won't go away, not really.
[Sally looks to Molly.]
Sally: But I can't stand to think that one day we might not be friends.
Molly: Then don't think about it. Just be friends. It makes yeah act less crazy that way.
Sally: A... alright. So do you wanna go hang out or something?
[Beat]
Sally: I mean this weekend, when April gets back? You know, after I say sorry for taking her camera.
Molly: Yeah, I'd like nothin' more in the whole world.
[Fade out.]
Sally: Lots and lotsa pictures--
[There's a knock on the door.]
Sally: Oh April, back for your camera already?
